Jacobo Tiscareño

President and CEO

Meet Jacobo Tiscareño, the co-founder, president, and CEO of Tres Amigos Media (3AM). His love for storytelling began at a very young age. He was inspired by movies ever since he was a kid, not only by characters or plots, but by the art of how stories were told. He’d recreate scenes with his toys or come up with narratives of his own, unknowingly laying the foundation of what he’d later pursue. That passion stayed with him. He went on to study journalism and worked as a photojournalist in Spain, but it wasn’t until a meaningful conversation with his best friend that he decided to fully embrace his dream of filmmaking.

“There was a moment back in Texas, living with my best friend at the time, that really changed everything. We were having one of those deep, nostalgic conversations, and he asked me why I had never pursued my dream of working in the film industry, and why I hadn’t left our city to chase it”.

This conversation sparked something in Jacobo. It gave him the push he needed to take a leap of faith. He moved to Mexico City to pursue his dream. He ventured into the film industry and worked with a variety of creatives and companies. Eventually he crossed paths with Bruno and Oliver, two like-minded spirits who would later become his partners, and everything started to align. In 2024, the trio founded Tres Amigos Media. and since then, they’ve produced a range of projects, from commercial videos to creative film content, and it has been a fast-paced and exciting journey so far.

Being able to bring a story to life has been such a rewarding experience. Jacobo thrives in the early stages of development, where ideas begin to take shape and finds meaning in the collaboration that brings those ideas to life. “I really believe in working as a team because it brings in different perspectives that push ideas forward and elevate the final product”. He finds fulfillment in being the bridge between vision and reality, no matter how abstract or intangible an idea may seem. “I like to remind our clients that what we’re creating isn’t just a video, it’s a lasting piece of who they are. It’s something that captures their identity and will stay with them forever”.

Originally from El Paso, a bordertown in Texas, Jacobo recognizes the immense and untapped creative potential in the region. His long-term vision is to foster a vibrant and thriving creative community there, one that bridges the gap between the U.S. and Mexican film industries. By connecting talent from Mexico City, Los Angeles, and New York, what he refers to as “the creative trifecta”, he hopes to position El Paso as a central meeting point for these creative worlds. Mexico City is the starting point of Tres Amigos (3AM): a place to build experience, expand networks, and gather knowledge, all with the intention of eventually bringing those resources back home. Working alongside Bruno and Oliver has made his dream not only possible, but tangible, and for that he is truly grateful.

Oliver Nava

Chief Creative Officer and Head of Production

Driven by the power of a well-crafted story and the desire to push creative boundaries, Oliver Nava found his true calling in the art of visual storytelling and brand-driven content. His journey began while studying Film and Television at Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión in Mexico City, where the process of turning raw ideas into emotionally charged narratives sparked his passion for storytelling and shaped his path as a creative producer. Since then, he’s led creative campaigns for brands like Grupo México, The Color Run, Grupo Etra, and KNOVA. But a true turning point came with his work for VANS LATAM and VANS GLOBAL, projects that weren’t just briefs, but culture-driven playgrounds where he had the opportunity to turn strategy into emotion, and emotion into branded worlds people actually want to be part of. These projects challenged him to blend authenticity with cultural edge, creating something lasting and emotionally resonant; a story that lives beyond the screen.

This pursuit of meaningful, carefully curated storytelling is what made Oliver the perfect fit for Tres Amigos Media (3AM). As the company’s Chief Creative Officer and Head of Production, he channels his passion into building narratives that resonate, stories that shift perspective, and leave an impact.

“My passion comes from that moment when everything clicks, when the visuals, the message, and the emotion line up to create something real, something that moves people”.

In a world overloaded with content, Oliver believes that relevance alone isn’t enough, resonance is everything. What drives him today is designing narratives that are insight-fueled, emotionally intelligent, and strategically wired to move the needle; stories built not just to inform or entertain, but to activate. His vision is to help shape Tres Amigos Media into a creative house that doesn’t follow trends, but sets them. A team brands turn to when they’re ready to take a bold, meaningful leap. Whether through commercials, branded content, or unexplored formats, his mission remains clear: make it matter, and make it move.

Bruno GR

Creative and Project Director

Ever since he can remember, Bruno has been captivated by the power of communication and the potential of a well-crafted message. Growing up with two journalist parents, he learned early on how a well-delivered idea could connect with someone, move them, inspire them, or even shift their perspective. That fascination led him to audiovisual storytelling, where image, sound, and emotion could come together to craft the perfect message. He studied film at the Universidad de la Comunicación and has spent the past four years working in the audiovisual industry, taking on roles such as production assistant, assistant director, and other key positions across a variety of projects.

“I genuinely believe we should all strive to leave the world a little better than we found it. I’m convinced that many of today’s problems could be solved with better communication. That’s why something that deeply fulfills me is identifying what makes each client unique and finding the most direct, honest, and positive way to share their message with the world”.

Bruno’s passion for visual storytelling spans all forms whether it’s films, commercials, or content in general. The range of approaches and perspectives across time and genre have always drawn him in. He’s watched nearly 3,000 films (all tracked on Letterboxd), a testament to his deep love for understanding different minds, cultures, and artistic intentions, each with their own way of expressing a message.

“Working in an industry where stagnation equals death means nothing ever feels certain or predictable. Every project is a new chance to grow and learn. It’s an endless path… and I couldn’t find it more exciting”.

That passion for connection and clarity is what made Bruno GR the perfect fit for Tres Amigos Media. As Creative and Project Director, he’s committed to fully understanding each client’s vision and exploring every possibility to bring it to life with authenticity. His goal is to keep evolving as a visual storyteller, to build a team he can grow with, and to stay grounded in the purpose that led him here: to create purpose, to communicate with depth, and to enjoy every step of the journey. The vision for Tres Amigos Media is simple: to create the best audiovisual content in the world.
